Sean Wiggins


Project Scientist and Principal Development Engineer

Sean Wiggins is a Project Scientist and Principal Development Engineer at Scripps Institution of Oceanography's Marine Physical Laboratory. During the past 20 years at Scripps he has designed and developed various oceanographic instruments to study marine acoustics, seismology, and seafloor heat flow. His current research interests include passive acoustic monitoring of marine mammals, ocean ambient noise, and the effects of sound on marine mammals.
